Samuel Conor, Ex Marketing at Anti-Defamation League & Save the Children

Samuel Connor, an accomplished strategist and fundraiser in the nonprofit sector, serving in senior leadership positions. Most recently he led the national marketing team at the Anti-Defamation League raising several million dollars annually; prior to that he held senior positions in marketing and development at Save the Children raising over 620 million dollars annually. A former Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, Sam has led efforts internationally for PACT on behalf of USAID to build civil society in Mozambique; Currently, Sam advises international and national nonprofits on strategy, fundraising and marketing.

 

Simcha Lyons

Since 2005, Mr. Lyons has served as a senior advisor to the Ashcroft Group, LLC of Washington, D.C., a strategic consulting firm founded by the former Attorney General of the United States, John Ashcroft. In addition, Mr. Lyons has been the chairman of Lyons Global Insurance Services, LLC since 2009. Since 2003, he has also served as chairman of Lyons Global Advisors Ltd., a political consulting firm. Prior to 2002, Mr. Lyons was Vice-Chairman of Raskas Foods of St. Louis, Missouri.

 

 

 

Hanan Miron

Hanan has held various CEO and CFO positions with technology and investment companies based in Israel and the US. His last position was CEO of Aurum Holdings Ltd., the investment arm of Morris Kahn. Prior to that, he served as the CFO at Schema Ltd. BackWeb Technologies, and served as the CFO of Nice systems and the President of the US subsidiary Nice Systems. Hanan holds an LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the Tuck Business School in Dartmouth College in the US.

   

Nathan A. Low | President, Sunrise Capital

Nathan founded and serves as President of the Sunrise Financial Group, Inc, since August 1991. In 1992, Nathan founded Sunrise Securities Corp., a FINRA registered broker-dealer. In October 2003, Nathan founded and became Managing Partner of Sunrise Equity Partners, L.P., a $174 Million SBIC fund, which made direct investments in public companies.

Under Nathan's leadership, Sunrise has raised in excess of $5 billion for over 60 domestic and international public and private companies, using a variety of financing products including traditional debt and equity as well as innovative equity-related financing instruments. Nathan was graduated cum laude from Harvard College and serves on a variety of charitable boards for projects involving the developmentally disabled, cancer care, and education.

David Drake is the founder and Chairman of LDJ Capital in NYC and has been involved in technology media and telecom (TMT), realty, mineral & energy, clean tech and impact investments for over 20 years. Mr. Drake is also the founder of The Soho Loft (TSL) Media Group - The Voice of Capital Formation. It consists of divisions reaching millions in Publishing, Events and Investor Relations. He write regularly for WSJ, Forbes, Thomson Reuters, Hedgeco and 100+ other entrepreneurial and financial publications. 

Mr. Drake works to bring part of the JOBS Act to the EU Commission. May 2013 he was invited to the White House for the Champion of Change ceremony. He is a founding board member of CrowdFund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates (CFIRA) and the Association (CFPA). He presents regularly as an expert on the JOBS & Dodd-Frank Act and recently presented at the Harvard Alumni LA panel and hosted 3 conferences with Thomson Reuters in Boston with speakers like KKR & Carlyle. 

Mr. Drake hosted the Harvard Club and Boston Symphony performances at his home and sat on the advisory board of Best Buddies Charity for autistic kids.
